Lacanche at Martins of Hawkhurst
We've sold Lacanche range cookers for over 27 years. Each one is built by hand in the village of Lacanche, in Burgundy, France. In our showroom you'll find two of our best sellers, a 1505 mm Citeaux and a 1000 mm Macon. They're display models rather than working ones, but between them they show every feature a Lacanche can have, in gas and electric, so we can talk you through any model in the range. Alongside them are a Lacanche Salamander grill and two extractors. Prices start from around £6,000 for a 1000 mm Rully or Cormatin. Lead times vary through the year but are usually 8 to 10 weeks, and UK stock is sometimes available, so ask us about current stock and lead times. Every new Lacanche comes with a three-year warranty, which you can extend by two more years before delivery. We've held live Lacanche cooking demonstrations in the past: ask us about the next one.

Questions about Lacanche
How is my Lacanche delivered?
Lacanche's UK importer, Fourneaux de France, delivers it with their own two-person team or a delivery company they approve. They bring it to a ground-floor room and unpack it so you can check it over, and the driver will put it where you'd like it. When you order, you'll be sent a delivery form: please tell them about any steps, stairs, corners, narrow passages or floor surfaces on the way in, as anything missed can delay delivery or add a charge. Deliveries can arrive any time from 8am to 8pm, and your old cooker isn't taken away. The published price includes VAT and standard delivery.
Will a Lacanche fit through my doors?
Doorways on the way in need to be at least 735 mm wide. Tell us about any narrow doors or tight turns when you order, and note them on the delivery form.
What warranty does a Lacanche come with?
Three years as standard, and you can extend it by another two years if you arrange it before delivery. Warranty repairs are carried out by engineers employed and trained by Lacanche.
How long will I wait for my Lacanche?
Usually 8 to 10 weeks from order, though it varies through the year. UK stock is sometimes available, so ask us about current stock and lead times.
