Depending on whom you talk to and at what time of day, different accounts of the history of Martins of Hawkhurst will surface. It can be said with total certainty that the business has been owned and run by the same family for over thirty years, and in that time it has operated from more than one premises in Hawkhurst, selling not just kitchens and ‘white goods’ but in its formative years, televisions and wirelesses. In all that time the business has seen trends come and go, and has had to adapt to survive. In recent years the internet has been the ‘new kid on the block’, throwing up interesting challenges that have meant adapting again, placing even greater emphasis on product choice & customer service. There is nothing quite like seeing and touching that exclusive kitchen or appliance, and then talking to people who know all about them.

Our current showroom in the Weald of Kent village of Hawkhurst is spread over three floors, two of which show our kitchen displays and appliances (both built-in and free-standing). At this address we also have a service & repair workshop, goods-in storage, staff offices and a customer carpark. Off site we have a large fully alarmed warehouse for kitchen storage and additional stock, plus waste collection facilities.
